Welcome to the website of the San Diego Pool League.
I’m glad you found us. The colors of the web site may be dark but let me assure you our pool play is light, competitive and cheerful. Regardless of your level of pool play, we have a team for you in our A, B and C divisions.
We have two pool seasons a year, with play usually spread over approximately 16 Mondays. In addition to this weekly league competition at various locations throughout San Diego, we sponsor tournaments and, at each season’s end, we have our gala banquet. The League also participates in the West Coast Challenge (WCC). The WCC brings together pool players from San Francisco, Los Angeles, Long Beach and San Diego for a long weekend of pool competition. In fact, our San Diego Pool League will be hosting the WCC in June 2009 at the Town and Country Resort. So you can see, we’ve got a lot to offer our members.
This will be my 22nd year playing in the events. And believe me, I wouldn’t keep doing it if I weren’t having fun. If you have any questions, the members of the Board of Directors, the team captains and our members are available to help you.
And to you who have been playing in the League for a while, please know that your League directors are dedicated to making things run smoothly so that everyone has a good experience.
