The SDPL is one of our nation’s oldest LGBT sports organizations active since 1978. The SDPL conducts 2 seasons a year. We are a trophy league which focuses on providing members the opportunity to improve their pool playing skills, while having fun and meeting new people. So, whether you’ve never picked up a cue stick in your life or consider yourself a "Shark", the SDPL has a team & a division for you. We play on Monday nights with team practice beginning at 6 pm & match play beginning at 7 pm. Matches consist of 16 Games per night & each team can play between 4 & 7 players. Our sponsor locations are in the San Diego area. Following regular season play Team Playoffs & Special Event Tournaments begin. These will decide which Team and Individuals will represent San Diego in the West Coast Challenge. The WCC is where the top teams & players from Long Beach, Los Angeles, San Francisco and San Diego compete in a weekend long tournament to decide the best of the best.
